Becki Privett, Adonia Arts Academy Executive Director

Becky has been working with youth, and adults for 30+ years.  After graduating from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Becki worked with the International Church of the Nazarene in Kansas City where she developed and edited religious curricula and publications for all ages.  During those days, she also worked on her Masters in Christian Education from Nazarene Theological Seminary in KC.  Motherhood brought her home to raise her 3 sons, begin working in local children’s ministry, and open a home piano studio.  She currently maintains a home studio in Hendersonville, Tenn.  Prior to coming on board with Adonai Arts Academy, Becki served on the staff of 3 churches in the KC area and one church in Gallatin, Tenn.  Becki is an ordained minister in the Church of the Nazarene.  She looks forward to using every way the Lord equips her to pour His truths into the lives of our teachers, staff and, most importantly, the students of Adonai Arts Academy

Serenity Vandershoot, Adonai Arts Academy Executive Adivor

Serenity taught dance at the School of Chicago Festival Ballet and Hermitage Hills Arts Academy. In 2007 the Lord inspired God's Princess Camps, in 2009 she opened Adonai Dance Studio, and in 2011 a Board of Directors was formed when Adonai International incorporated to become a 501c3, adding Music, Art and Drama. While serving with the Board, Adonai’s Court summer program was established. Training beloved teachers and watching students grow has brought Serenity great joy.  She has seen the Lord use dance to affect lives and believes that souls can be won for Christ through the ministry of gifts. Together with her husband Matthew, it is their desire to see God's Word and great love shared through the arts, because it is a media that crosses cultural and language barriers.
